Glamping Zarja – Luxury Eco Glamping near Postojna Cave and the Vipava Valley

Glamping Zarja is a small luxury nature retreat at around 1,000 metres above sea level, only a 15-minute drive from Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle and Vipava. With only four new, modern and fully equipped wooden cottages, guests enjoy exceptional privacy, peace and comfort. Each cottage has its own private entrance and terrace, while selected houses also feature private sauna or wellness facilities.

Here, nature meets modern comfort: a natural swimming lake, complimentary authentic wood-fired sauna, complimentary open guest kitchen and barbecue, clean mountain air, beautiful views, forests and nearby pastures with horses and cows. The retreat is far from traffic and urban noise, and thanks to its high-altitude setting there is virtually no mosquito problem.

Glamping Zarja also has its own ecological farm. Our homemade breakfast features eggs from our farm, homemade pancakes, homemade jams and homemade bread made with flour from our own farm. Farm-to-table dinners include homemade pasta made from our flour, our own meat, vegetables and potatoes, together with seasonal ingredients.

Guests can also rent e-bikes to explore the Vipava Valley, Predjama Castle and the surrounding countryside.

Approximate cottage rates: €150 per night in low season, €185 in middle season and €285 in high season. Rates are for accommodation only and exclude breakfast and the cleaning fee.

At Glamping Zarja, located in the unspoiled nature above Vipava, we offer luxury glamping houses perfect for family holidays or a romantic getaway for two. Our houses for couples feature a private sauna and jacuzzi for an unforgettable relaxation experience. Every space is carefully designed as an oasis of peace, where luxury meets nature.

We are the ideal starting point for exploring the Vipava Valley and the Karst region, and we are just a short drive from the world-famous  Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle.

Our estate features a natural lake with a beach where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing in our wellness area. The lake is also a true paradise for children, offering plenty of space for play and exploration.

Fancy some wellness? Besides the infrared saunas located in two of the cottages, we also offer a small wellness area featuring a Finnish sauna. This cozy wellness spot is tucked behind the wooden beach, providing a stunning view of the natural lake while you relax in the sauna, heated by a wood stove with some hot cup of tea.

Available for all our guests from September to May.

Farm - to Table Dining: Flavors of the Vipava Valley
At Glamping Zarja, we also have a small restaurant offering an excellent selection of homemade dishes.

For breakfast, we offer freshly baked homemade bread with our delicious jam, scrambled eggs made from eggs straight from our farm, and homemade pancakes, all paired with a warm cup of tea or coffee to start your day.

For dinner, we serve dishes made with ingredients sourced from our farm and other local producers from Vipava Valley. Enjoy homemade pasta, freshly grilled beef paired with our garden vegetables, and crispy potatoes.
